My question: If you could chose any world ever created for Sci-Fi or Fantasy (or any other genre, for that matter) to live in for a month, or to travel to whenever you please, what would it be?

Now, if I were to live in a fictitious setting for a month... It'd have to be Avatar. Ever since watching that movie, I've wanted to live amongst the blue guys. Does that fail?

I would pick Hawkgirl's belt of Nth metal that allows her the gift of flight with her wings. I would use it to fly, obviously. The heightened senses and vision would be quite useful.

If this same company offered you the power of any superhero, whose power would you choose?

This would be a conundrum, but I'd probably choose the super-psychic powerpack-- Telekinesis, Telepathy, Empathy, Psychometry and Clairovoyance-- but that pack would probably not be offered...

I'd have to see a full list ._. but Photographic reflexes would also work.

Somewhere in a temperate climate. If you're going to be ruling the world from a certain spot, you might as well pick one you'll like. ^^

None. Change is the greatest thing we can ever ask for, else boredom would quickly consume.

Honestly it depends. I like the sound of certain bells personally, while other bells give me really bad headaches. It sort of depends.

to be able to warp the world with my mind :O

Interesting question. Lots of possible answers too, but, overall, I think I'd settle for Middle-Earth. Be a hobbit and live in a comfy hobbit-hole

If you could change (remove, slightly tweak etc.) one event in the history of mankind, what would it be?

Every human is faced with a conundrum at that question, which usually boils down to one of two choices. Will I:

a) Prevent, or at least dramatically reduce the effect of some terrible tragedy, like the Holocaust or the publication of Twilight,

OR

b) Enrich myself?

I will say this: I could, as much as it pains me to say, choose b) and still sleep at night. I, like most Western people, have the incredible superpower of "forgetting," when it comes to the people in third world countries that I have indirectly wronged. I am fairly sure, however, that I would choose option a). The event I would change, I think, would be the rise of Adolf Hitler.

Everyone here is a writer. What would you give to get published? If you're already published... Well, that's awkward for me then, isn't it?

I already published, so I'll just say what I published

A little book consisting out of a combination of short stories and poetry without a common subject, but all somewhat philosophical written. I'm a very minimal writer.

If you'd be in a collapsing building, would you rather want to be on top or on the bottom of the building?

Bottom. Bigger risk of the whole thing falling on you, but the chance of reaching the exit is also greater.

You really, really want a certain, very rare book and you see it in a store. Only a few copies remain. But you have no money to purchase it at the present. As the minutes pass, you notice how the amount of copies grows ever smaller. There's no telling when they'll have this book in stock again, this may very well be your last chance. Do you steal the book, knowing that 80% of the people who bought it probably have no intention of reading it?

I often battle the desire to steal, so this is a really difficult one for me. If it was a privately owned business, I would not do it. If it was a chain bookstore, like B&N, I might think about it. But I haven't stolen in a long while, and I'm trying to never do it again unless absolutely necessary.
