Song of The Three Kingdoms

Three Kingdoms connected to one another by a triangular border is where our song takes place. This song has not always been sweet, nor is it always tragic, it is a dynamic song that spans centuries. Whether it spans for centuries more is up to its writers, the leaders who dictate the lives of those who are common, offering protection and direction to their people. Not always have these leaders been just and kind, the Kings and Queens of times past are as complicated as the song itself. Our verse opens with the death of a King, and the rise of a Queen, his child. This death was unexpected and sudden, an assassination made by an unknown party. The young Queen's position is precarious and uncertain, her youth, status as an unmarried woman, and the assassination of the previous ruler all work against her. As if that weren't enough for an inexperienced Queen to handle her father left the Kingdom treasury nearly empty, spent on wars to gain glory and land, land she is not sure she can hold onto.

To the east the kingdom of Versailles has offered aid in the form of an alliance, to be sealed in an arranged marriage between herself and their Crown Prince. She travels to Versailles to meet her potential husband and draw up a treaty, taking with her trusted Knighted Lord in command of her protective guard, and her ladies in waiting, the only friends and support in these dark days she has. Also in Versailles is the Prince of Ophellia with two of his friends, come to court Versailles's Princess on his father's orders. How will these events play out? Will their be marriage vows and wedding bells or blood spilt and war? Perhaps there will be both. This song can only be sung by it's players. So we begin.

aaaand there we have it, i've got descriptions for the three kingdoms individually but basically the direction of the rp and the events would depend heavily on characters - and this rp is meant to have basically all noble characters so you wouldn't be able to play a commoner or anything like that, you'd need to be able to interact at court meaning you need to be a noble

positions like princesses and queens would be available, kings and princes too - any bites?
