My teams: the new Winnipeg Jets, Montreal Canadiens, Binghamton Senators(AHL), and the Boston Bruins.

FINALLY, after 15 years, Winnipeg got their team back and I've been following their news all frickin' summer waiting for these guys to get a nickname, get a logo and a uniform and get their asses on the ice. As soon as I get the money together, I'm buying an Away jersey with Evander Kane's name and number on it! The first game of the season is on the 9th, against the Habs(my default is to root for the Jets and then Canadian teams if my fav teams go up against each other). So psyched, man!

I watched Boston win the Cup this last season, and I really like some of their players, so I've been paying attention to them for now. Favorite players? Team Captain Zdeno Chara and goalie Tim Thomas of the Bruins.

Hell yeah! Who else? Anyone?

;_; Jets lost their first game of the season, against the Montreal Canadiens - 5-1 - but damn they look beautiful on ice!
If they had to lose to anybody though, I'm glad it was Quebec. <3

The Habs lost to the Leafs. The Jets lost to the Habs. Ergo, Leafs win, now and forever, go Leafs, go.

Habs lost to the Flames tonight 4-1.

And Jets lost to the Blackhawks 4-3. I was really holding out for them to the last minute because they snapped up that third point in the second period.

Oh and Ottawa got their asses kicked 7-1 against Colorado.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh! VERY upset right now! Tonight was supposed to be special! Phoenix and Winnipeg went up against each other. Do you know what that means? 15 years ago the Jets were sold to Phoenix and became the Coyotes! Tonight, it was the old Jets against the new Jets and it was supposed to be epic! You know what is actually was????? Crappy! Phoenix won 4-1. My team is totally failing in their first year and it makes me very sad-faced. A LOT.

Montreal was FIGHTIN' tonight! They were behind at first but caught up fast. At the last minute in the 3rd period, they got a tie with Colorado and then they had to go for a face-off and then a shoot-out! Colorado won, but still, that was awesome! Go, Habs, go! <3

EDIT: Not face-off. I meant over time. baha!

OMG! FINALLY! Jets decide it's worth it to start winning! I didn't watch the game, because it's not a match I really care about, but the Jets beat the Penguins last night 2-1.

Next big match for the Jets is tomorrow night! Winnipeg against Toronto! 7:30 pm, your Make Beliefs are going DOOOOOWN, Tartra! >8U Bwahahahahaha!

I am disappointed in Montreal again. They lost to Buffalo 3-1 tonight. ;_; Every new day my heart fills with new hope! They will win the next games for sure!

Admitting defeat is never easy... but those darn leafs won 4-3 against the Jets. How very upsetting. D=

Tomorrow is Leafs vs Bruins. I am conflicted. And yet, I can't actually lose.

Heh, I can sympathize with that. For that situation, I want the team with the biggest Chara to win.

I swear. My boys aren't even trying. My two clubs repeat themselves against different teams with Montreal losing 3-1 against Pittsburgh and Winnipeg losing 4-1 against Ottawa. ;_;

Bruins, though, beat the Beleafs 6-2! Woohoo!

Can't believe there is a hockey thread with no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. That's practically insulting to the sport itself! Anyway I am a Wings fan and am annoyed that they have only played 4 games so far. Their schedule is all messed up. They play and then wait 5 days to play again. The next game is tonight and of course I am in Kentucky so I can't watch it. Anyway, go Wings. Show those Blue Jackets whose boss!

I'm a big supporter of the phrase "Hockey is Canada's game".

Well, they are ahead by 2 and its the second intermission. I am thinking they can pull it off and thanks for the luck! I think its cool Winnipeg got a team again. Hopefully they start doing better later in the season.

Edit: Wings pulled off another win to make it 5 straight wins in a row. A great way to start the season!

Congrats! I watched the recap and they really nailed that with several great goal shots. Like, perfect aim and perfect timing for a couple of them.

Tonight the Jets go up against the frigging 'Canes and they better win! One of my friends roots for them and Boston already lost to them twice this season. So, one of my teams needs to win against Carolina.

Then the Habs go against the Leafs tonight as well which will be EPIC!

Well, Winnipeg did not let me down tonight! 5-3 against the 'Canes! Woohoo!

On the other hand, Montreal severely disappointed me in their battle against those gosh darn Leafs! They did so well and kept up with them even into over time! And then lost! DX

Well, the Jets and Habs decided to lose again last night, to the Rangers and Panthers respectively. 2-1 was the scoring for both games.

The Red Wings are going up against the Blue Jackets again tonight? Good luck with a second win, Sunwolf!

Nice! Hopefully the winning streak continues! Meanwhile the Wings lost to the only team in the NHL that hadn't won yet this season... until Tuesday. Maybe Friday's game will be better.

Tonight, the Jets are going against the Flyers and the Habs are going up against the Bruins. Even though I like the Bruins and Chara is my favorite hockey player, I always cheer for the Canadian teams first.

Bruins lost to the Habs again tonight, 4-2. The last two goals were scored at the end of the 3rd period without going into overtime! The 'Peg lost another game, 1-0 against Tampa. =/

My Wings aren't doing much better. They lost last night and tonight making it 4 games in a row. they are making improvements but all kinds of dumb bounces and bad calls happened to steal the last 2 from them. They just don't have puck luck and its killing them. Sigh. Hopefully our teams can pull themselves out of this mess.

Agreed. I hate feeling my fan loyalty tested like this by the Jets, lol.
