Keileon's Art Dump
Right, so. I've been getting into digital art for a while, seeing as I have three different programs for it and am looking into getting a third. I'm still learning how to do stuff, and it's not easy with a laptop trackpad, but nevertheless... yeah.
My method currently involves drawing the picture on paper, taking a photo with my DSi, uploading it to the computer, making lineart of it in Paint.NET, flatcoloring in MS Paint, and shading in Photoshop CS6. I'm looking into getting Sai for finishing details, but I'm still thinking about it.
Examples of my better works:
(No, I don't consider him anthro.)
Might upload more later...

Re: Keileon's Art Dump
I applaud your results in the face of such a tedious process!
And I thought it was a chore to scan things.
The fox-wolf-thing seems to have the best shading so far. Well done!
As far as digital art, probably what you really want is a graphics tablet. I got along okay with a mouse for years, but the level of control with a stylus just can't be beat. Plus you can draw right in the program. No more tedium! ^^
They'll cost you about as much as a game system, though. :/

A quickly made map of my roleplay/canon world, Euthora. The actual drawing took me around a day due to needing to get coastlines and areas right; the render took a few hours total on Paint.NET, I spent about five minutes coloring on MS Paint, and finally all the labeling was done on Photoshop CS6.
Don't ask why there's a continent named Ethanol.
Dark yellow dotted lines are continent boundaries. Dark blue dotted lines are ocean boundaries(Zul is Drakine for ocean). Red lines are country boundaries.
Currently named countries:
1 --- Ethanol mainland
...
5 --- Carisitai
...
12 --- Ferinael
...
26 --- Durasken
27 --- Seotara
28 --- Ustream
29 --- Arseyeln
30 --- Nienearcl
31 --- Roatachai
32 --- Euthorica Islands

Re: Keileon's Art Dump
You mean I shouldn't ask: Why is there a continent named Ethanol? xD
That reminds me one time I named a place on a map Chyme, before discovering what that was.
You can always change names if you don't like them, though. Ethana, for example.

Re: Keileon's Art Dump
The name "Ethanol" comes from when the planet was being named; some friends commented on how Euthora sounded like ethanol. It stuck.
Preemptively, Ustream comes from the fact that a separate canon taking place on Euthora was roleplayed in the chatrooms of the broadcasting site by that name.
