Doing something interesting with my life

Hey all,

I am going to start back writing again. Recently on Cracked.com, there was an article about stop whining about life and start doing interesting things. Since I have not been doing interesting things, I felt like it was a clarion call do get off my behind and start writing again. It's not enough to have great ideas and never share them, so here I come!

I usually write sci-fi or fantasy, but I am at home with doing some editing with those with novels who want someone to look over their work. I am no expert with correcting grammar, but I can make some comments on pacing and what not from the perspective of someone who reads constantly (on the bus to school/work usually). In return I will do something of first for me, and post some of my poetry. You are more than welcome to tear it to shreds, as I don't believe it's very good and would like to make it better. The final note is that I am a grad student who is taking the maximum amount of classes possible, and don't always have lots of time to write or edit. So, while I love to work with some of the more fast paced threads, I probably will have to refrain. Time to do something captivating.

It's quite the inspirational message to start with when you come into a new place: That we're all going to try our best to improve the world, starting with ourselves and what we contribute. Well, the first thing is to find something in advanced that isn't eight million pages deep that is interesting. I find those tend to move slower. If you want to brainstorm something let me know. My real interesting goal is take up origami again, because I can't even remember how to make a crane, and I have made hundreds.
