School for Monsters

Basically, high school. But for monsters. No in depth plot ideas yet, but I'll think on it if people are interested. And, of course, pitch your own ideas if you want.

Any monster character types are allowed, including but not limited to:

Vampires
Werewolves
Dragons
Harpies
Sirens
Nagas
Zombies
Any variation of half-human half-animal

That sort of thing. Characters are not limited to students. I want the school to be fully functional, so feel free to play a faculty member.

This looks really interesting and fun. I'm definitely interested.

I'm in need of a more lighthearted RP, especially seeing as how most of the private RPs I'm in have either died or slowed down to an extreme. So, count me in. Here's hoping others show interest.

Raefldom Academy is an enriching environment for your monster child to learn everything he or she needs to learn about, well, being a monster. This school accepts students from ages fifteen and up. We will ensure that your child learns the basics of scaring, eating, reaping, or whatever it is that they are most qualified to do. Special classes for special case monster are offered here at Raefldom, but permission from the Headmaster is required for any student to enroll in such classes. The classes at Raefldom Academy include:

Writing – Poor grammar is unbecoming of a successful monster. If you desire to instill fear into the hearts of your victims, you may consider carving notes in stone, tree trunks, or dead bodies. Legibility and sentence structure are key to getting the right message across.

Alchemy – Perhaps you enjoy crafting potions to cause distractions and illusions. In this class, you will learn the basics of alchemy. Learn to mix invisibility potions, size-altering potions, paralyzing potions, and groovy concoctions to render your victims stupid while they hallucinate everything from their worst nightmares to their darkest secrets being revealed.

Consumption – Many monsters pride themselves on eating the living—or maybe even the dead. This class will teach you how to optimize your eating capabilities and expand your esophagus to new limitations. Warning: Choking is a common penalty in this class. Enroll at your own risk.

Stalking – Learn to stalk your prey or victims without suspicion. We guarantee, they won't know what hit 'em. Unless you want them to!

Shape-shifting – Many monster are capable of changing their shape. But not everyone is born an expert. If you are having trouble changing your shape, this course is just for you. Learn the principles behind changing your form and master the art.

Flying – In case your mother never pushed you out of the nest—and assuming you have wings—learn to master flight in this class. You will be taught stealth, accuracy, and much more.

The History of Monsters – This class is required for all students at Raefldom. Learn your origins and come to understand a wide variety of different monsters, are from where they hail.

Additional courses may be added. Suggest some if you have ideas!

This role-play will be rated Mature. There may be content they some people find disturbing (such as blood, gore, sexual themes or activity, etc.) If you have any questions regarding this, please PM me.

Each player is allowed up to three characters, but please be mindful of putting each character to use. Students and faculty members are available to everyone. If you want to teach a class, PM me with your ideal professor and course. Remember, you can suggest new courses. I made up a few, but there is room for more.

I have recently been on a Norse mythology kick was wondering if I could do a young Jotun (frost giant) he's young so he'd be what we humans consider giant between 7 and 8 ft tall.

I think you can play just about anything you want. Just a word of advice, if you're wanting to be something different, I'm already playing a half-Jotnar in this particular RP.
