Happy Thanksgiving, FoG! Empty Happy Thanksgiving, FoG!

It's Thanksgiving already here in America. Doesn't it seem like that came up fast for anyone else? Seems like it was only just Halloween!

Well, happy Thanksgiving!

What's everyone doing for their Thanksgiving? Since my parents and brother are living in New Mexico now, I no longer have any family whatsoever left in the Quad Cities (where I live and grew up), so I'll be going over to Axiom's grandma's house for lunch later to celebrate with his family. There's always good food over there.

Anyone going out for Black Friday? I'd much prefer to buy things online just to avoid the crazy crowds, but sadly I am broke and so is Axiom, otherwise we'd get ourselves a TV for our living room and a new couch lol, because we are in desperate need of them both. Oh, and he needs a dresser, as all his clothes are just in a pile in our bedroom. xD

Tsk, tsk. A month late. Razz

Happy Thanksgiving, Americans! As for Black Friday, supposedly it's not that great. We don't get it up here, anyway. We have Boxing Day.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I always thought black Friday was dumb and call it black and blue Friday because that's what you'll be. Anyway hopefully everyone has a great time and eats lots of turkey!

Happy Thanksgiving! Today I will be going to my grandparents for Thanksgiving. I'm very grateful that Silvone's boss not only let him go in early (4am - 1pm instead of 6am - 3pm), she's also letting him go early. Whether its a half hour early or an hour and a half early, I don't know but I don't care....earlier is earlier Very Happy

On sunday we will be travelling a couple hours east into the desert to visit Silvone's family for a Sunday Thanksgiving. We are probably going to be driving there and back all in one day, but the drive is beautiful (if you are a fan of the desert) and being stuck with my two favorite people in the world for a few hours seems like heaven. Hopefully the drive isn't too bad.

Like you Fayt, Silvone and I have no money, but that isn't the reason for avoiding Black Friday. I think anyone who has been stuck in retail during a Black Friday would be a fool to try and go participate in it Razz Luckily, Silvone is off Black Friday. What a blessing.

Fun fact, Ben Franklin wanted America's national bird to be the Turkey!

A "bird of courage," a turkey, Franklin believed, "would not hesitate to attack a grenadier of the British Guards who should presume to invade his farm yard." In comparison, he said the eagle had "bad moral character" and played a lesser role in early American life.

Oh I kid, happy American holiday from Australia! (You crazy lot. Razz)

Heeey, we do too. Though, Boxing Day for Australia is just another excuse for us to take a day off/work on a public holiday (depending on if you want money or relaxation). XD

Boxing Day, Black Friday... hmm...
Are people getting bruises from hitting each other and cutting lines? Laughing

I'm having a great Thanksgiving so far. ^_^
We might end up having two thanksgivings to get all our family in, but so much the better. xD

One thing I'm thankful for--first on the list right after all the mushy stuff like family and love, good times, FOG, and coughdrops (points if you can name that reference)--is Skyward Sword! Hyper I've put in 40 hours so far! xD

Happy Turkey Day everyone! cheers
Be thankful! Aww

If I'm correct, Boxing Day was so rightly named because of the annual boxing match that would happen on that day, so, you could be right! Haha.

Skyward Sword! Hyper I've put in 40 hours so far! xD

/jealousy. Australia (you know, that continent right next to Japan? Yeah, that one.) doesn't get Skyward Sword until December 31st. SO DEPRESSED ABOUT THIS AND DEFINITELY NOT THANKFUL.

Why do games cost more in Australia? It's not fair!
You do get some cool bundles and special editions sometimes, though.
I won't spoil anything for you. ^_^
ZeldaUniverse.net is nice; they make sure to say Spoiler Alert on their news announcements. There are tons of Australian zelda fans on that site. ^_^

Happy Belated Thanksgiving to all my fellow American FoG'ers!

I had to work on Thanksgiving, which sucks, but doesn't because I get extra money. Though my folks did bring me dinner at work, which was nice.

I hope all of you had a great day.
