Just as it states. I may put my really old character sheets from threads and sites I was on earlier. Added information will be put here about the thread they were/are used in, the age of the character sheet, the genre of the RP and whatever else I think of that I used.

All characters here are capable of being recycled. If anyone is interesting in RPing OnexOne with any of them, PM me and I'll definitely consider it. Non-recyclables will be labeled.

Note: Not ALL my character sheets will be placed here.

Re: The Mind of a Skitzo-phrenick

Post by Skitzo-phrenick on Tue Sep 21, 2010 8:39 pm

Date Created: Sept 2010
Genre: Modern/Drama/Romance
Roleplay: Haven't Met You Yet

Name: Talia Gilbert

Age: 23

Appearance:

Occupation: Bartender

Marital Status: In a relationship. Well she's more so in a BUNCH of relationships but none of them she takes seriously. She basically has a man for a specific purpose. One for taking out on dates, one for sex, one for fixing things, etc.

Sexuality: Straight

Currently Residing in: New York, NY

Traits:
4- Stubborn: Rarely ever listens to anyone even if they're right.
1- Goal Oriented: Talia doesn't really know what she wants out of this world other than to just be happy.
4- Selfishness: She tends to put her issues above anyone else's. If her needs come first they will be met first.
5- Compassion: Despite her selfishness, she does actually care for other people and will feel sympathy and affection for any animal or human being.
5- Aggressiveness: Working in a bar had her learn quickly that she backing down from any challenge or fight will do her no good, so she has a tendency to be prone to them or even initiate them.
4- Offensiveness: If she sees something she doesn't like she'll address it as quickly and as rudely as possible.
4- Daredevil: Most likely to be the first to jump off a building if dared to.
5- Artistic: Never seen without a camera in her hand, but even she doesn't know what she takes pictures for.

Hobbies: Singing, dancing, drinking, drugs, practical jokes, buying clothes, taking unconventional risks, web surfing, watching movies, playing video games, photography

Childhood Experience: Talia's childhood experience was very chaotic. Her biological father was a bit of an alcoholic and both physically and emotionally abusive (though the former was very rare, the latter was frequent when intoxicated). Her mother did eventually learn and leave him and both DID go through the therapy required of them her mother taking to it better than her. Since then her mother remarried to a much better man, but Talia was pretty much ruined. In her last year of highschool Talia had the misfortune of becoming pregnant and gave birth to a perfect baby girl by the name of Sydney. Once college hit though her parents legally took custody of her daughter though (for the baby girl's benefit) and to this day they raise her as their own, allowing her visitation. Naturally taking her daughter from her caused a scorned relationship between her and her family, her mother specifically.

Unrecyclable
Date Created: Sept 2010
Genre: Era/Tribal
Roleplay: Exiled Savior: The Udapak Child

Name: Demroc the Forthright

Age: 56

Expertise: Warrior 7 (master craftsman) and Warrior 2 (ranged combat)

Physical description: Upon first appearance, Demroc comes off like a wall of shadow. His body is well defined with muscle, and on a 6’0” height it is nothing but intimidating. He is bulky and large and in no way afraid to show it. In fact, in the average day and in average weather he will go without many layers only wearing woven cloth about his legs with leather boots and fur greaves, and he keeps to as few layers as possible by wearing a fur cloak during the colder seasons, which has led to many a joke amongst the warriors saying that he can’t feel the weather at all.

His face, despite his body, is kind and smooth, with rounded cheeks and a strong jaw. A prominent brow and rounded nose frame dark brown eyes that are shades darker than his skin, which is nearly black in color. His skin color is made more noticeable by white painted markings he ritualistically puts on himself daily, each marking signifying his mood, focus, thankfulness, and prayer for the day. A permanent brand marking for his tribe covers his back and is accompanied by the paints, which travel along his arms, chest, neck and head which will always and forever remain bald.

As well as wearing few layers, Demroc (despite the insistence of other warriors) has little to no armor. On his forearms is leather armor and plated bronze rests on his shoulders and thighs, but he refuses to wear more than that instead saving room for two daggers one long (used mostly for fighting) and the other short (used mostly for whittling) which both rest at his hip. He wears a quiver over his shoulder along with his longbow.

Heritage & History

Not much can be said about his family since they were rather average. The males in his family didn’t excel too much in anything to be honored nor were they too poor at anything to be ridiculed. They had the misfortune of living gloryless and instantly forgotten lives. All seemed to change however for Demroc’s father, Hesed, who was so poor in terms of combat that he chose to focus his attention instead on helping those who weren’t.

He quickly took an interest in crafting, which earned him a great deal of ridicule from the other men in his clan, because all forms of craft work were considered women’s duties. Hesed kept with it though, using his spare time to learn from the women who were willing to teach him. It was through them that Hesed met his wife, Shea, and through here he was blessed with many boys.

The first born was Kazeel, who unlike his father took very well to the life of a warrior and in fact grew to become one of the best in the clan, and is now one of the five guards of the Chieftan, which earned him the surname Kulu. Second to be born were Demroc and his twin brother Sayel. Unfortunately their birth was too much for their mother, and Shea died soon after the delivery, forcing Hesed to take up a new wife (who is currently only 15 years older than Demroc). Through her Hesed had his final son, Meero, who is easily considered by all of the brothers as blood despite their maternal differences.

The twins and Meero never grew in close range combat like their brother. Meero took on the family legacy in being average while Demroc and Sayel found their calling in long range weaponry and crafting. Demroc was more interested in mastering the bow at a young age while Sayel was like his father in every way. It wasn’t until Demroc actually learned that masters of archery created their own bows that he even bothered to take an interest in crafts work. By this time though his father’s sight had grown extremely poor with old age and he turned to his twin more for help. Both did their best to teach him what they knew, but neither were as good as teaching crafts as the women of the tribe. Over time both of the twins took to asking the women different things about creating weapons, tools, artistic carvings, whatever they could get their hands on and made a collaborative effort to improve each other.

When they grew older it was clear that Sayel was actually the better craftsman. Demroc, being skilled enough with the bow to be acknowledged by the clan, was more often sent on small missions and duties, while Sayel stayed with his father and the women learning all he could. He slowly became a well established craftsmen and would make weaponry and tools for his family as well as whoever was willing to take them, in a clan where it was the women’s duty to make the crafts though, it was difficult to get interest. Women crafted for their husband’s and a husband not receiving his weapons, clothes, or tools from his wife was a sign of disrespect to her or a sign of inability on her part. So instead, Sayel created weapons for his brothers till they were all married, opting to teach and share information with the wives and when they could.

Unfortunately not long before the Charge of Hero’s Gorge Demroc’s clan, the Ashdai, had been raided, taken over, and enslaved by the Hurek and none in the house of Hesed were spared. Demroc and his brother, like many of the warrior with some level of honor among the clan were made a constant mockery of. They were used for entertainment while siding as slaves for the higher leveled Hurek. Sayel and his father were kept with the women, forced take part in creating weapons for the Hurek as well as watch their wives and family be raped and abused. In an attempt to spare his own wife Sayel fought against the Hurek and was instantly killed bringing about devastation to the family. Meero was fortunately too average to have too much attention brought to him but was unable to spare his first son the same fate. His first born son along with Kazeel’s wife had both lost their lives.

After the Udapak and Idan wiped out the Hurek and freed what little of his already small clan was left, Demroc out of morning took his brother’s daggers and with them took on his brother’s role, creating weapons for those who were willing to receive them, while making sure to learn whatever he could from his wife, who had been sharing techniques and styles with Sayel. Over time he grew to master craftsmanship through his wife and inadvertently his lost brother. However, his skill was never actually recognized outside of the family till his clan became more involved with the Udapak and Idan.

Due to the two larger clans freeing them, the Ashdai now were indebted with their lives to the greater clans. Out of realization of how small their numbers had effected them and great respect for their saviors they openly dedicated themselves to serving the Udapak and Idan whatever way they could, though in most cases they were rarely necessary. Demroc, who was highly acknowledged only for his archery campaigned with the Udapak and Idan in small groups, helping to extinguish what was left of Hurek that lingered about the lands as well as anything else they could manage. It was during these times that the members of the Udapak and Idan began to notice Demroc’s ability. As he was still willing to create for whoever asked, many of the clans’ men saw fit to approach him and through word of mouth his craftsmanship became respected and with it the craftsmanship of all the women of his clan, whom Demroc would openly state to be the cause of his ability.

From there the Ashdai’s bond with the two clans strengthened, and grateful for his bringing honor to the clan the Chieftan of the Ashdai had Demroc create weapons for him as well as for gifts to the Chieftan of the Udapak and the Chieftan of the Idan as a sign of their unity. It was through these gifts and his own reputation as an archer that he was given the task of joining the other warriors to take care of the girl. Seeing it as another honor, he agreed to it leaving his wife and their five children behind with much difficulty.

Clan: Ashdai

The Ashdai are a small nomad clan from the south. Their lifestyle is mainly based on balance, sacrifice, and veracity. The decisions they make both as a clan and as individuals are based on these three subjects. Balance can be considered as equality, but it is not equality alone. It is more so a complex idea of losses and gains that is the basis for their relationships and actions. To achieve something great, something of equal value must be lost. It is also what determines the men and women’s roles in their society. The women do crafts. They cook, they build, they create, and it is the man’s duty to use those crafts to support the women giving them food, materials, and protection. There can be no man without a woman and there can be no woman without a man. These are only examples of the many ways balance is integrated into them.

Sacrifice integrates itself with balance, but it is also a belief amongst the tribe that to be bound to any one thing is a sign of weakness. Both man and woman must be willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of keeping the balance as well as for the desire to grow in both strength and wisdom. This is one of the main reasons in which they remain nomads. Staying in one place to long is cause to grow attached to that one place. In many cases the same can be said for people and family as well, which is why the Ashdai believe no one man to be more important than the next. They also believe their own personal lives to be a sign of weakness if kept secret as well… which leads to veracity.

It is practiced amongst the clan to speak your mind no matter how offensive. Pride, strength, and ability can only grow with the acceptance of the truth that you have little to be prideful of in the first place. This is also practiced through the words they place on their skin through the paints. It is a way of staying completely truthful without speaking, and is something all adults do with pride. Children are only allowed to put their prayers and thankfulness on their bodies but with age becomes the ability to become more open with the rest of the clan. Being able to speak your mind is an honor.

Their strive for sincerity with the Udapak and Idan is extremely limited though thanks to a language barrier. The Ashdai speak in a language more commonly used in the south and slowly had to become familiar with the other clan’s language through study, some were forced to learn bits from the Hurek when they were enslaved but over time it has become another great honor to be able to speak to the Udapak and Idan. Not many of the clan’s men know the language but all are trying to grasp it. It is due to the language barrier that it was rather difficult for the Ashdai to integrate themselves with the other clans in the first place. It wasn’t till after the Udapak and Idan found respect for their craftsmanship that they actually formed a proper alliance.

The Ashdai are somewhat difficult to get ahold of due to their lifestyles as nomads but they have made a system of constant shift changes amongst men who are temporarily stationed amongst each clan. If need be one can simply find any one man from Ashdai and be escorted to the clan or etc.

Mentality: Demroc follows the lifestyle of his clan to perfection despite the differences between himself and the rest of the warriors, and his personality rarely strays from the same line. He is a kind and brutally honest man all in one. In many ways he believes himself to be helping when he actually comes off somewhat insulting so he is commonly scene smiling when saying something completely rude. He’ll try to be as tactful as he can manage, but his grasp on the language limits him a bit. He is very much fluent but every now and again he’ll mix words or be unable to understand one word out of a sentence, and he absolutely hates every instance it happens.

He is a very prideful man, taking pride in every aspect of his life, so if any mistake shines he mostly doesn’t take it happily. To his credit though he puts a lot of effort into everything he does, become a bit of a perfectionist in his craftsmanship, his archery, his ability to speak the language of the Udapak and Idan, and his teaching. If one mistake shows itself he strives to correct to the point of coughing up blood if necessary. This can naturally not do so well when it comes to his teaching, but in all the other aspects it’s perfectly fine.

In terms of the girl he is protecting, he sees her only as just that. He openly does not believe in the prophecy, nor does he believe the girl to be a savior. His system of balance causes him to believe that no man or woman is more important or greater than the next. She is just a normal girl who needed his protection and he treats her as such. It is something he feels he needs to work on constantly, because in many ways he will forget the girl’s place as an exile which could put her in danger if not considered cautiously. He finds her to be a true test of his ability because by keeping her safe he is inherently keeping many secrets and for the sake of his honored duty he will do just that.

He treats the girl like his daughter or niece, proud of each of her accomplishments and taking her failures as his own failures. He as great expectations of her, but does his best not to push her past her own limits or make her decisions for her. Still that doesn’t put him above throwing a bit of a temper tantrum and storming off swearing in his own language when she does something he highly disapproves of. In fact he has a tendency to do that often with some of the warriors, Barais more specifically.

With all the warriors he holds a high regard, but he has a tendency to favor both Ranohg and Kilahi. Ranohg he enjoys simply for the fact that the man can understand his native tongue, and he will often take advantage of it by speaking to him with it when alone with him. After learning of Kilahi’s status as a Bryker and his role in the Charge of Hero’s Gorge, he nearly kowtows to the man as if he were the sole savior of his clan by himself. He considers it to be a true honor to be working with him, and promises to brag about it to his clan upon his return home.

Re: The Mind of a Skitzo-phrenick

Post by Skitzo-phrenick on Tue Sep 21, 2010 9:16 pm

Date Created: 2004
Genre: Fantasy
Roleplay: 3 different threads. None lasting.

Basic

Name: Snider Fenron
Alias/Nickname: None
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Occupation: Wandering Traveler/ Thief, he doesn’t work, he steals.
Nationality: I guess he’d be rather old-worldish
Species: Human
Power: He’s got the bloodline ability to control and touch his sword. He could be considered a wizard, but in order to cast any sort of spell he needs to have his sword with him. Without it he’s just another human.

Specifics

Hair Color: Flame red
Hair Style: He has bangs that go down the side of his face, and the rest of his hair is spiked back. It’s kind of gravity defying.
Eye Color: Not quite amber yet not quite brown. They’re more of an orangish color.
Skin Color: slightly tan
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 180
Build: lean and fit. He’s very much in shape
Identifying Marks: There is an ancestral gem placed on his forehead, it glows when he uses his power, also he’s meant to be rather attractive. Lastly he has two long dangling earrings in both of his ears and his companion, Nova the fox, is always following him.
Clothing: Snider’s usual clothes consist of a pair of boots that have bandages wrapped about them so he doesn’t have to bother with tying his shoes, a long sleeve shirt that shows his lean and slightly chiseled midriff, pants tucked into his boots or shorts that go over them, and he always has his dark bladed sword strapped to his back.
Likes: Learning new spells, victory in battle, causing trouble, and being cynical
Dislikes: Being sent on needless tasks, following the orders of others, people messing with his companion, just anything annoying

Personality

Snider is one of those people who you either like or you don’t. He’s pretty much rude and conceded and stating his mind is not that much of a difficulty. He doesn’t care whatsoever for another’s feelings, but he’s too lazy to try and stop someone from crying on his shoulder. In short, he is selfish. This man cares about very few things in life: his sister, Kisha; his sword; and Nova, his fox companion. Other than that he’s pretty much heartless. The main reason for this is because Snider is so used to being alone. He has been traveling the world for many years, solely for the purpose of gaining power, but his sword is another cause for this problem.

Snider’s sword, which goes by the name of Trivius or by the title “The Sword of Reco’De”, is filled with dark magic and a dark intent. Since Snider uses the sword so often the dark magic is slowly eating away at his humanity, thus his heart and soul.

History

Snider was born into this world, not alone, but with a twin sister by the name of Kisha. Immediately after their birth their family knew that the paths of the two twins would be different. While Kisha was born into the world as a mage of light, with the ability to make all joyous and beautiful, Snider was born to carry on the dark tradition of the family bloodline.

You see many years ago there dwelled a powerful dark mage named Reco’De who, by the help of an ancient scroll he had stumbled across and a cursed land, had created a dark sword with limitless power. He dubbed his creation Trivius and overtime trained himself to be able to master and wield the sword. Many years had passed before he was fully satisfied over his mastery of the dark blade, and he began proclaiming his invincibility to all who opposed him, but he did not realize the consequences of his desire to gain the power of the sword.

As the years dragged on his mortality had become all the more apparent, and his mind had grown more lost. You see with each use the sword took the opportunity to let its dark aura corrupt its wielder’s mind. Over time Reco’De had become mad with power and at the mercy of his own creation. It was not long after losing his mind that Reco’De’s 3 sons turned against their father and struck him down in his sleep. They attempted to destroy the sword as well, but it was all in vain.

Neither of the youngest sons could manage to wield the evil blade, for as their hands touched its hilt a burning sensation would tingle across the flesh that had come in contact with the dark item. Unable to deny the guilt of their betrayal and the failure of their set task the sons departed from one another leaving Trivius to be guarded by the oldest of them. Only he had managed to obtain his father’s birthright and carry the vile sword.

From that moment on, only the oldest child of Reco’De’s blood line could wield Trivus. For many generations the sword was passed down, and no one even bothered to lift it or wield it in a battle. This is why Snider is so special. For some unknown reason he has decided to wield the sword and for that he has been shunned by most of his family and all people who had the potential to be his masters.

Wanting to learn how to wield the sword anyway, he deserted his family and aimlessly wanders the planet his only wish, to grow more powerful than Reco’De himself, driving him.

Re: The Mind of a Skitzo-phrenick

Post by Skitzo-phrenick on Tue Sep 21, 2010 9:40 pm

Date Created: Nov 2008
Genre: Pirate
Roleplay: 2 threads elsewhere.

Appearance:: He likes to wear the coats he steals from soldiers and officers as trophies and switches them frequently. Under them he wears a long sleeved stained white shirt and a brown vest that is buttoned up to his mid torso. He has a glove on his right hand and wears shin high grey boots over black pants. He wears a black worn hat that has frayed ends and looks to be on its last days, but it is decorated with three gold buttons that are lined along one of innermost curves of the hat. His dark brown hair is pulled behind him in a messy ponytail at the nape of his neck and reaches down to the lower part of his back. His eyes are green and he is blind in his left eye, which has a patch over it. In his right hand he holds a walking cane, which can pull out to be a sword if necessary. Unfortunately, do to the fact that he needs the cane; the sword is a last minute choice. Yes, he walks with a limp, but with his life on the line, he’ll have no problem taking a risk and pushing his leg to its limits.

Name:: Christopher “Captain Marks” Reemly (A ‘mark’ is a person or thing that is made fun of, hence the title)

Age:: 38

Role:: Captain

Persona:: He is an utterly selfish man with a twisted sense of humor. He’ll laugh at damn near anything and finds every time a good time to play around and mess with people. He likes to push buttons and bring people to their limits, and rarely ever gets serious. It is all about self satisfaction, no matter how quick and no matter how temporary so sex, drinking, and staying up late singing drinking songs will always be fun for him. He has excitement grow in him when it comes to games and gambling, they're frequent hobbies. He rarely ever gets mad and would probably die laughing if the chance came. He’s a free spirit with lack of respect or care for anyone, even his own crew. He will only do something if it benefits him in the long run. Things like pride, honor, courage, and dignity have no meaning to him, making him a very undependable person… well… of course even he will do anything for the right price.

Brief Bio:: As a young orphan boy he was born to a respectable family and at the age of thirteen he made friends with the guards and officers of the docking area he grew up in and volunteered to help keep watch over the dungeons that held prisoners that were to be executed. He would look after the inmates while the guard at the time (which was a night shift) slept. He never really cared for the inmates until he met Captain Lock, a smart man who caused him to question his goals and way of life and admire the sea. Captain Lock stayed in the prison for about a month before his execution. Soon after, as revenge for their captain’s death, Lock’s crew came and attacked and raided his harbor and out of spontaneous choice and a newfound love for the pirate way of life he left with them on the ship “The Shilling.” While there at the age of 17 he gained a disease commonly known as “Rough eye” (Trachoma) in his left eye and slowly lost his eyesight overtime. His right leg was injured when he reached the age of 26 and was shot with a ricocheting cannon ball. The ball didn’t break the skin but broke a bone in his leg (the tibia). Due to improper treatment the bone never healed properly and now he walks with a limp. He got the injury when he stole his ship.

Ship name:: Volamos (Spanish translation: “we fly”)

Picture of ship::

Other:: Marks is from Spain and as such Spanish is his first language, but only a few members of his crew know it. He learned English on “The Shilling” by ear, but he can’t read it. He can read Spanish though.

Re: The Mind of a Skitzo-phrenick

Post by Skitzo-phrenick on Mon Feb 07, 2011 3:15 am

Date Created: Jan 2011
Genre: Fan/Adventure/Pokemon
Roleplay: A Monstrous World We Hold

=Recording=

GIRL: What's that?

INTERROGATOR: Just something to help me remember our conversation here.

GIRL: How?

INTERROGATOR: I'll explain later. Right now let's focus on your questioning alright? -pauses to take a breath- Now what's your name?

-Silence fills the room interrupted by large thumps of static from the recording device-
INT.: Hey!
-Quick shuffling sounds go on in the background briefly-
INT.: Focus. I'll explain the recorder later. Not tell me what is your name?

GIRL: Rebbecca Bright, but most people just call me Becca.

INT.: Okay, and you're how old?

GIRL: Last I remember mom said I'm 13, but that might have changed by now.

INT.: Since people can't see you why don't we describe what you look like for those listening.

-silence follows with a few ricketing squeaks to fill the space-

INT.: -sigh- I guess I'll do it. Becca's a small girl (about 5'2" in height). She's got a medium umber color to her skin which has darkened even further thanks to her time out in the sun, and dark brown eyes with short hair dyed pink in a messy mop look. Her face and body are child like in nature and seemingly innocent looking to accompany her smallness.

-A faint tapping sound starts in the background-

INT.: She's got big expressive eyes on a round face and her build is lean, showcasing small amounts of muscle (she most likely earned due to probably more unanswered illegal behaviors).

-tapping grows louder-

INT.: Despite that thought she's proven to be very strong, energetic, and flexi-- Will you please stop that?!

-the tapping stops abruptly followed by an irritated huff-

INT.: Other than the pink hair she has no real identifying marks aside from the small scar on her brow, and--

BELLA: BORED!!!!

INT.: Well if you'd be more helpful we could get through this faster and I can let your parents know where they need to pick you up.

BELLA: -irritated groan of childlike quality-

INT.: -clears throat- She seems to have little to no care for her appearance aside from the pinkness of her hair and the regular maintenance that comes with the white hooded cloak synonymous with her lifestyle. I don't understand how she keeps it as whit as it is because she has the behavior of an adolescent chip and likes to run, climb, and jump off things... especially when running FROM something.

BECCA: Well aren't you rude?

INT.: Alright, let's go into your current life, shall we? For starters, what is your cloak for?

BECCA (as if reading from a pamphlet): "It's a symbol of innocence and purity for the younger members to remind us to strive for sincerity, justice, and kindness towards all beings. Also it's to make stand out a bit more amongst our surroundings. Pokemon are wild, frequently beaten and abused creatures so it's dangerous to spook them if you live with a lot of them around. Also it wards away those who would attempt to corrupt us with the desecration of these creatures." -pause- Though from my experience it only attracts nothing but trouble.

INT.: How so?

-a flurry of movement sounds-
BECCA: I didn't get this scar on my face from a pokemon, I'll tell you that! People don't take kindly to our way of thinking and a couple of years ago some drunkard thought it would be funny to throw a half full bottle of whatever he was drinking at my face. Also some Pokemon aren't the kind to cower and are more the kind to attack so the cloak is really like one giant target sometimes.

INT.: Fascinating. Now what about your home-life?

BECCA: Exhausting! There's helping the wild pokemon avoid the hunters, maintaining the grounds, hunting food for ourselves, trying help the sicker creatures. Also it doesn't help that we try to not be too dependable on the Pokemon so rather than make them do all the work, we work together on things, and somethings we don't have the pokemon help us with at all. "They work with us not for us."

INT.: Interesting.

BECCA: Also there are protests and ralleys and such, but that's mostly for the adults. They don't let us younger ones go on account of how dangerous they can become.

INT.: So what do you do?

BECCA: I help in the Pokemon Center's recovery ward with Nurse Joy and her Chansey, so I'll be better able to help the wild or abused ones we come across in the wild. I can't take care of the extremely serious injuries but I have a better understanding of the different Pokemon anatomy and chemistry involved. I'll also go and help stop hunters and trainers in catching more wild Pokemon too but usually dad get's mad and yells at me a lot after. -grumbles-

INT.: And what does your mom think?

BECCA: She thinks it's great! Dad calls her encouragable. -laughs-

INT.: So life at home is good?

BECCA: Pretty much. It gets boring pretty quickly, which is why I also get yelled at a lot for staying in town too long. "We're supposed to help at the Center and leave," dad says but that can get boring after a while. The area we 'Pokethusiasts' as you call us live in is very closed off from the rest of the city due to the danger and corruption, so we don't have many of the entertaining things here. We mostly just work and laze about.

INT.: Okay, do you have any pokemon of your own?

BECCA (reciting): "Pokemon are not to be owned or got. They are creatures of the wild. We are blessed to be bestowed with their abilities and kindness. To own them for their gifts is theft of righteousness from the god who gave them to us." I do have many pokemon friends though, but they come and go as they please. The only one that's with me pretty much always is a Gastly I found in one of the caves in the nearby forest.

-There's a pause of silence followed by a scream from the interrogator-
INT.: AH!!!! What is a pokemon doing in my interrogation room?!

BECCA (sounding quite pleased): I told you. He follows me everywhere. He's a Haunter now though.

INT. (extremely nervous): Okay... a-awesome... is there anything else we should know?

-A loud clatter escapes through the room as a chair scrapes across the floor and something sounds like it fell to the ground carelessly-
BECCA: YES! I don't care if that spoiled brat's parents files charges or not! I took his Coffing and he won't be getting it back no matter how hard you try to make me! Abusing a pokemon physically, mentally, or sexually is a crime against nature and her god! You forfeit the right to be near this creatures by committing these sins! His Coffing was returned to the wild and it WON'T be coming back!!

INT. (nervous): Please calm dow--

BECCA: And another thing, Officer Jenny (if that IS your real name)--

OFFICER JENNY: Please sit-

BECCA: No matter how many times you stop me I'll NEVER give up saving a pokemon who needs me. You can count on that!

OFFICER JENNY: Miss Bright, you need to take your seat or I'll be forced to restrain you.

BECCA: Let's go, Haunter!

-Chaos ensues with loud crashing and swearing and orders everywhere. The recording deeviced is bumped around a bit and crackles loudly-

=End Recording=

One of my more .... interesting character sheets.

I know it's not all that obvious here, but in Becca's worship is predicated that the pokemon are not gods themselves but the next best thing to them. They are essentially direct gifts from god himself.... kind of like the Pope's status in the Catholic church.

Re: The Mind of a Skitzo-phrenick

Post by Skitzo-phrenick on Sun Feb 13, 2011 8:19 pm

Date Created: Feb 2011
Genre: Action/Adventure/X-Men-Marvelverse
Roleplay: Defenders of the Peace

Name: Dr. Derrick Stern

Codename: Animo {Latin for: To animate, give life to}

Age: 24

Position at the school (or what they do if they don’t work/live at the school): A school doctor. He takes care of all injuries and natural defects of mutant powers in the institute.

Appearance:
He’s rather classy and mostly sporting a dress casual attire. He wants to look nice but considering his work and the situation of his work he realizes comfort, as well as movement, are more important matters to his lifestyle.

Ability: Biological manipulation – he has the ability to control the genetic construct of a living being. His powers can range from physical and genetic alterations, healing, disease, and pretty much every biological function. If need be he can even cause the body to stop functioning but every aspect of his power is something that requires heavy amounts of concentration as well as complete understanding of the processes of the biological function he is manipulating or simulating (ie. diseases). Also, much like alchemy he can not add or change the physicality of a human being beyond what is already there to work with. He cannot CREATE extra arms or legs he can already only fix or change what’s already there.

Unfortunately his ability, though well practiced, actually does him more harm than good. With each manipulation he makes, his body begins to manipulate as well and into what he does not know. All he knows is that the end result could simply be a change of his own physical structure or it could lead to very end of his life. Usual signs of the manipulation are dark black spots that form in patches along parts of his body. Also his body will distort momentarily before more black patches are added to his skin. The reason these manipulations are terrifying to him is that he can not feel anything along the black parts of his skin. He is still unaware of the exact cause but he does know that his nervous tissue is dying, causing him to believe that his entire body may be dying as well. As this is a cause of his powers he can NOT use his powers to fix the situation, so he is stuck depending on modern medicine in hopes for a cure or maybe the abilities of another being if they come across one which has yet to happen.

Another limitation to these powers is over excessive use of them will cause him to pass out and be unconscious for 24 hours at most. Usually repeated use of his powers over a period of a couple of hours or long term use for minutes on end can equal over excessive use.

Short Bio: Derrick was a bit of a child genius. He advanced a few years in his classes starting himself off in college at the age of 14 and earning himself a doctorate sooner than most people, but in the beginning he wasn’t really as interested in learning. In his earlier years focus had always been on the anti-mutant hate that was going on in his junior highschool. He and his twin sister, Elexus, had been heavily working to fight off any of the bullies that had been abusing the mutant students almost daily, and even after it was suggested that he skip a few classes he stayed behind to help with matters, not wanting to leave his sister to deal with the problem herself. It was when he developed his own mutant powers that Elexus suggested he focus more on schooling and skip few grades as the teachers pushed before for his safety. They knew it would be better especially since he had been prone to accidentally making students nearby sick.

He was transfered to the Xaiver Institute of Higher Learning because his abilities were classed as extremely dangerous and as the first mutant school they were more capable of keeping his powers restrained while he learned to master basic control of them. After a few years there and finishing his college BA, he went back to a more normal college environment and devoted his studies to medicine.

Having realized the capability of his powers Derrick specialized in diseases so that he could hope to find a cure for them as well a better use for his powers. It was soon after he had moved on to making this decision that he realized the effects his powers had on his own body. When he sent a letter off to his former headmaster about it he was approached again by Professor Xavier as well as James Malone in hopes of helping fellow mutants (especially those who had mutated more physically) with finding substitutes for modern medicine as well as means of physical aid and a better means of letting them understand their own powers. They also promised him focus on his own situation as well, which was something he really couldn't refuse.

So he works with a team of fellow mutant doctors amongst all the academies to better understand and help fellow mutants (as well as himself) when not having to deal with another student injury or helping with the defense group. He has a number of assistants in the school to help him considering his work load. Learning of his sister's enrollment in the Malone institute, he chose to work there to be around her more.

Post by Skitzo-phrenick on Sun Feb 13, 2011 8:19 pm

Date Created: Feb 2011
Genre: Action/Adventure/X-Men-Marvelverse
Roleplay: Defenders of the Peace

Name: Elexus Stern

Codename: Echo

Age: 24

Position at the school (or what they do if they don’t work/live at the school): Instructor. Physical Education and Higher Level Self Defense.

Appearance:
Prone to wearing tank tops and pants. She tends to lean more towards the casual end of the dress spectrum but will dress up if the occasion calls for it.

Ability: Substance mimicry – the ability to transform her body to any substance touched. (ie stone, steel, glass, electricity, etc) Any substance she touches, she amplifies to a greater strength as well capable of harnessing all substances as a weapon she can shoot from her body.

Power negation- the ability to cancel the effects of the superpowers of others. This is an ability Elaine will rarely use in the midst of battle due to its limitations. At most all she can do is stop one simple attack, but it will cost her the loss of her substance mimicry power for minutes on end, leaving her completely vulnerable on the field. Thankfully she has a great deal of experience with hand to hand combat and is advanced in Kung Fu, but when up against a mutant, that can only last her so long. The only time this power is used is when deathly blows are issued or special abilities of others have long lasting effects. She is also more prone to use this on her brother than anyone else because she believes his powers will actually kill him over time.

Short Bio: Unlike her twin brother, Elexus is very normal by standards. In her school years, she and her brother had protected mutants out of the kindness of their hearts unknowing that they would be joining them. Thankfully her brother managed to get out of the school they had been attending at that time when his powers first started to show. Initially, she thought only her brother to be the one to obtain powers but she was actually a rather late bloomer when it came to her own abilities and hers developed years later in the middle of her highschool years. Almost immediately afterwards her parents had her taken out of her normal school and put in the Malone School of Higher Learning.

It was when Derrick started working at the institute that Elexus became aware of her brother’s side condition to his powers. She was immediately angry at him for having kept the secret of his abilities from her as well as using them altogether after he found out the truth. She openly wants him to stop his power use altogether, but he refuses because he believes he can do better when he helps others, so she remains at his side almost always.
